Within the AMBL, the Austin division (25+) is the most competitive, with many ex-pro and college players.
The MABL division (18+) has some outstanding young arms in this division. The MABL and Austin divisions play an interlocking schedule.
The Capitol division (25+) consists of 11 teams, and has an outstanding mix of ballplayers. Many of the best players in this division are over 40, some over 50! The competition is intense, and the talent evenly spread.
The Lone Star division (35+) has 8 teams, and is dedicated to giving the ballplayer who has been out of the game for a while a chance to play.
The Texas division (45+), beginning play in 2005, is made up mostly of AMBL veterans from the Lone Star division.
The AMBL is NOT a beer-drinking, recreational league .... it's about fun, hard-nosed, competitive, baseball.
